A picture is worth more than a thousand words
My study of indigenous textiles has given me wonderful knowledge about the Australian Aboriginal people. There is no written language for Aboriginal People so in order to convey their important cultural stories through the generations it is portrayed by symbols/icons through their artwork. The beauty of Aboriginal art in fabrics cannot be denied. I used a few pieces in my collection to create this comfort quilt. These fabrics are among my favorite to work with.
